Lechuza Cubico Self-Watering Planter

The Lechuza Cubico self-watering planter brings a clean, architectural presence to indoor plant styling, thanks to its precise square silhouette and high-gloss or matte finish options. Crafted from durable, UV-resistant plastic, this planter is built to maintain its crisp color and structural integrity for years, resisting fading, cracking, and warping even in bright, sunlit rooms. The minimalist cube shape makes it a versatile choice for contemporary, Scandinavian, or industrial interiors, and it pairs beautifully with structured plants like snake plants, ZZ plants, or small ficus trees that benefit from its clean geometric lines rather than competing with them.

At the heart of the Cubico's design is Lechuza's proprietary sub-irrigation system, which includes a water level indicator, a planting insert, and a water reservoir that allows plants to draw moisture as needed rather than being subjected to the stress of overwatering or drought. This self-watering mechanism can sustain plants for several weeks between refills, depending on the species and ambient conditions, making it an ideal solution for busy households, offices, or frequent travelers who want thriving greenery without constant maintenance. The inclusion of LECHUZA-PON or a similar substrate layer further supports root health by promoting aeration and preventing waterlogging, a common cause of root rot in traditional planters.

Available in multiple sizes and a range of colors from classic white and slate to deep charcoal and warm taupe, the Cubico adapts easily to tabletops, console surfaces, or floor placement as a statement piece. Its food-safe, recyclable material construction reflects a broader commitment to sustainable indoor gardening practices, while the seamless, one-piece outer shell conceals the functional inner workings, preserving the pot's refined aesthetic. Whether used singly as an accent piece or grouped in varying sizes for a curated plant display, the Lechuza Cubico self-watering planter merges practical plant care technology with a polished, design-forward form that suits modern indoor living spaces.
